The story moves along at a decent pace (slow in spots) but moves to an exciting "can't put it down" last 150 pages. Can two people—who have gone through the fires of lust and love—reconnect with what brought them together in the first place and make peace not only with themselves and each other or will the pressure prove too great and tear them apart for good. I can't give it an enthusiastic recommendation but coming from a cookbook fanatic I do think it's worth buying to try out. She is getting into that stage when peer pressure is becoming more important to her, and since she will be entering middle school in the fall, perhaps she will feel a little more at ease reading the stories in this book. Sarai and Tremel seemed to be just getting on the right track in going broke. He writes a scene that you can close your eyes and see exactly what he describes. Also would have liked to see the names of the people talked about in the story rather than just their initials. I know she will enjoy it, and I am sure my great nephew will love eating the meals.
